About Claire

After graduating from Purdue University with a degree in Urban Sociology and City Planning, I entered real estate as a temporary job until I decided what I really wanted to do. Over forty years later as a full time agent, I can honestly say I love my job now as much as I did when I started.
Growing up in Washington, DC, living in Bethesda, Md. and now Mclean, Virginia has given me the unique advantage of knowing all three jurisdictions and I have maintained real estate licenses in all three areas. I was also fortunate that my husband decided I was having too much fun in my job, so he decided to quit his, and started a remodeling business that then developed into a custom home builder. Being involved with his business on the side taught me a lot about site development, architectural styles and plans, remodeling options and building new homes which expanded my knowledge of real estate in ways that have become so valuable to my clients.
My goal has always been to deliver quality service to my clients. As a result over 92% of my business is repeat business or referrals from past clients. While many agents have turned to large scale teams, I have managed to maintain a level of performance with the help of my sister, who is also my assistant, that allows me to provide for my family while at the same time offer one on one service to each client.
